Choose your role

Select your role — locum pharmacist, pharmacy technician, counter assistant, dispensing assistant, or pharmacy manager. This personalises your dashboard and filters.

Complete your profile

Add your name, GPhC registration number, location, and a brief professional bio. Employers see this when you apply.

Upload your credentials

Go to your Credential Vault and upload your GPhC certificate, indemnity insurance, DBS certificate, and right to work. Upload once — they attach automatically to every application.

Browse and apply

Browse shifts by location, role, and rate. Filter by date to find what works for you. Click Apply, add an optional cover note, and submit. Your credentials are included automatically.

View all your applications in one place. You'll get an in-app notification (and email, once configured) when an employer updates your application status.

Create your employer account

Sign up and choose "Pharmacy owner" or "Pharmacy manager" as your role during onboarding.

Set up your pharmacy profile

Add your pharmacy name. This appears on all your listings and helps applicants identify your branch.

Post a shift or job

Go to Post a shift and fill in the role type, date, hours, rate, and location. The title generates automatically. Add a description for best results.

Review applicants

When someone applies, you'll see them in your applicants list with their name, application note, and credential count. Click to review, then update their status.

Message directly

Message applicants directly through the platform. No external tools needed — conversations are threaded and persistent.

Confirm the booking

Update the application status to "Booked" to confirm the shift. The candidate is notified automatically.

Common questions

Is it free to join?

Yes, completely free for pharmacy professionals. Create an account, browse shifts and jobs, upload your credentials, and apply — no subscription or fees.

How do credentials work?

Upload your documents once in your Credential Vault. When you apply for a shift, your credentials are automatically shared with the employer. Employers can see how many credentials you have uploaded.

What notifications will I receive?

You get in-app notifications for new applications, status updates, and messages. Email notifications fire when an employer responds to your application or sends you a message.

How do I contact support?

Message us directly through the platform or email hello@pharmacy.working.expert. We aim to respond within one working day.

Can I use this on mobile?

Yes — the platform is fully responsive and works on any device. There is also a bottom navigation bar on mobile for quick access to key sections.
